Wild Caught Gulf Red Snapper

Red snapper is moist and delicate, with a mild, slightly sweet taste that goes well with all kinds of additional flavors. It is a lean, moist fish with a firm texture and a distinctive sweet, nutty flavor which makes it versatile for many flavor components from mild to intense seasoning. 

Snapper is a particularly excellent fish to grill, and is best cooked using a hot grill but set the fish over a lower heat, not necessarily indirect grilling, but low direct heat. Season with your favorite rubs, or just lemon pepper and salt…maybe a little grated parmesan cheese. Red snapper can be broiled, grilled, pan-fried, steamed, baked or deep-fried.
